As a Product Engineer in the Power New Product Introduction Group, you will be responsible for Product Development from Concept through Commercialization. Products will include new technology nodes and Product Family proliferation for Semiland SiC Power Module designs. Product Engineering ownership for the New Product Team will ensure efficient integration and test coverage to deliver products which achieve the business goals for Yield, Quality and Reliability.

Job Responsibilities:

• Ownership and development of all product specific electrical test specifications to ensure robust test coverage to ensure timely and efficient qualification to the Product NPI schedule.

• Lead standardization and definition of Static Part Average Test and Dynamic Part Average Test for new Power products.

• Yield analysis and statistical analysis throughout the development cycle to ensure Yield, Reliability and Cost goals meet the Product Definition requirements.

• Lead and coordinate New Product Deliverables including Design FMEA, DVP&R, and Datasheet development and validation.

• Characterization and bench testing of die and package parts

• Document, summarize and report on project status to key stakeholders, communicating deliverable progress and product specific risks.

• Evaluation and Integration of new technology and process improvements into the New Product Roadmap.

• Identify and qualify test plan improvements to improve quality, reliability and ensure optimal yield and cost targets.

• Participate in RMA activities to ensure key risks are mitigated throughout the entire portfolio and to ensure risks are considered in the commercialization process.

Minimum Qualifications:

• MS or Ph.D degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or closely related field

• 3+ years of industry experience in process engineering, test, process integration or product engineering in a semiconductor wafer fabrication facility.

• Strong understanding of semiconductor power module fabrication and assembly technology

• Exceptional data analysis and problems solving. Experience with JMPÔ or similar software. Solid understanding of DOE, ANOVA and Yield Analysis

• Independent and self-driven, able to identify, confront, and resolve difficult problems.

• Demonstrated ability to influence and drive cross-functional teams for product deliverables.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Power Semiconductor device physics knowledge. Working knowledge of power semiconductor testing, qualification and reliability.

• Knowledge and experience of Product Qualification to Automotive standards, particularly AEC-Q101 Discrete product standards.

• Master’s Degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering and/or MBA

• Experience with semiconductor product development and commercialization

• Six sigma black belt, green belt or significant Quality system training and experience

• Experience in silicon carbide based power module fab process engineering, package processing or process integration.
